FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

The things local owners ask before they sign anything, in the order they usually ask them. Anything else on your mind, a person answers the audit requests.

Straight answers before you ask.

What is an AI front desk?

Think of it as a trained assistant for your inbox and website that never sleeps. It answers customers' routine questions using your own business information, drafts email replies in your voice for you to approve, sends an approved holding reply after hours so no lead goes cold, and logs every inquiry in one plain-language list you can check anytime. It does not quote prices, handle complaints, or improvise: anything sensitive is drafted for a person, and it always identifies itself as automated. The Ask FadedScape helper on this page is a small demo of the website half of it.

How much does it cost?

Published ranges, no mystery pricing. The Front Door Build is $1,500 to $2,500 one-time. The AI Front Desk is $299 to $499 a month, the Care Plan is $99 to $199 a month, and the Local Visibility add-on is $299 a month. After the free audit, you get a fixed quote, so your exact price is settled before any work begins. If the setup check is the obstacle, ask about folding the build into the monthly Front Desk instead. You own the domain, content, and accounts either way.

Will AI talk to my customers without me knowing?

No. Routine factual answers, like hours, services, and directions, can be sent automatically only within limits you approve ahead of time, and the automation is disclosed. Quotes, pricing, complaints, refunds, and anything sensitive are drafted for you to approve, never sent on their own. You can see every inquiry in the log, and you can tighten the limits anytime.

I don't have a website at all. Can you still help?

Yes, and it is more common than you would think. We start you with a starter front door: your own domain, a fast one-page site with your services, hours, and tap-to-call, your Google Business Profile claimed and completed (for many local businesses that profile is what customers actually find first), and review links so your reputation shows where people look. From there the same options apply, and the AI Front Desk matters even more when every after-hours call is currently just missed.

Do I own my website and domain?

Yes. The client owns the domain, content, and accounts. FadedScape is a service provider, not a landlord, and if you ever leave, everything goes with you.

Will a rebuild guarantee better Google rankings?

No. Nobody honest can guarantee a ranking. We improve the foundations search engines and customers can verify: clear services, consistent information, useful pages, reviews, speed, and a site built for action.

What does the free audit include?

A focused check of the website, Google presence, reviews, contact paths, and lead handling. You receive three findings, what each one likely costs in missed opportunities, and the practical fix, and you will hear back within one business day.

How long does a build take?

Your fixed quote confirms the launch date before work begins, so the timing is a commitment, not a guess. Builds stay deliberately productized, a defined set of pages in a set order, so scope does not sprawl. What moves the date is content: the faster we have your services, hours, and photos, the faster you launch.

What do you need from me to get started?

Very little. Your services, your hours, how you want customers to reach you, and any photos or a logo you already have. We handle the writing, design, and build, and you approve before anything goes live. After launch, monthly reports come in plain language, no dashboards to learn.

Still wondering about something?

Ask through the free audit form and a person, not the assistant, will answer. Or start with the three findings and see how we think.
